Welcome! From the Mayor of the city of Dresden. I would first and foremost like to thank you for the opportunity to honor and serve you as your Mayor for the last four years. I am proud to have served one of the most dynamic cities in the state of Tennessee, Dresden, since 2002. It has been my pleasure to be your mayor and I look forward to doing so for the next four years.
The highlights so far into my tenure include transforming the city of Dresden into a more accountable government so that it serves everyone fair and equally. I am proud to have helped lead the efforts in unifying Weakley County in industrial and economic growth for the formation of the Weakley County Economic Development Corporation. We have been able to restore trust between the citizens of Dresden and neighboring communities. We have made over half a million dollars worth of improvements in our parks, civic centers, public works, police department, and done so without an increase in the tax burden.
